Our story began with a man, a bicycle, and a dream. Shri Mohanlal Bhimraj Shah, driven by his passion for jewellery, traveled from village to village, selling handcrafted gold jewellery with honesty and dedication. His vision was simple yet powerful—to create a brand that customers could trust for generations. This unwavering commitment laid the foundation for Kalamandir Jewellers, a name that would set benchmarks in the jewellery industry.

In 1986, Kalamandir Jewellers took its first step into retail by launching its first store of 200 sq.ft. in Kosamba. Specializing in 916 hallmarked gold jewellery and fine silver jewellery, this store set a new standard for quality and purity, quickly becoming a trusted name in the region.

After years of success and growing customer demand, Kalamandir expanded with a large-format store in Bharuch in 2012. This store introduced a more diverse collection, adding diamond and antique jewellery, making it a one-stop destination for jewellery lovers.

Taking a bold step forward in 2013, Kalamandir Jewellers launched its 30,000 sq. ft. ultra-large format store in Surat. Designed to offer an immersive shopping experience, this store featured dedicated floors for gold, diamond, and wedding jewellery, setting a new benchmark in luxury jewellery retail.

In 2017, Kalamandir Jewellers expanded to Vapi, bringing our signature collections to a wider audience in Gujarat. This milestone also marked the launch of "Saj Dhaj Ke," our exclusive wedding jewellery brand, which was introduced to celebrate the grandeur of Indian weddings.

In 2021, Kalamandir Jewellers marked a major milestone by entering airport retail by opening our first airport outlet at Surat Airport. This expansion brought our exquisite Rishta Diamonds, Platinum, and Indo-Italia collections to travelers, making fine jewellery accessible.

2023 was a defining moment in our journey as we launched an ultra-large format store in Ahmedabad, setting a new benchmark for luxury jewellery retail..
